BeXom Fiberscheiben
BeXom fiber discs are a versatile tool for surface finishing on steel and metal. The selection of different grits allows for optimal coverage of tasks from coarse material removal to fine sanding.
We offer the discs in diameters of 115 mm and 125 mm and in grits K24, K36, K40, K60, K80 and K120.
Explanation of the individual grain sizes
K24 – coarse removal for heavy unevenness
This grit is suitable when work needs to be done quickly: ideal for removing thick layers of rust, scale, or old coatings. Perfect for the first sanding pass on heavily used metal surfaces.K36 – For rough grinding work
High material removal with a slightly finer finish than K24. Ideal for weld seam finishing, surface smoothing, and removing coarse contaminants.K40 – Universal entry-level grind
Good balance between material removal and surface quality. Particularly suitable for general grinding work on steel and stainless steel when both efficiency and clean results are required.K60 – all-round grit for versatile applications
The most commonly used grit: powerful enough for rust removal and rough work, yet fine enough to produce a consistent finish. Ideal for everyday workshop use.K80 – Medium-fine grinding for clean surfaces
Suitable for refinishing surfaces, smoothing edges, and preparing for coatings. Delivers significantly finer results than 40 or 60 grits.K120 – Fine sanding for smooth surfaces
This grit is used when a clean surface finish is essential. Ideal for finishing before painting, coating, or polishing.
